MulligansshamrockThe Mulligans are once again headliners, this year for the LA County Irish Fair in Pomona. Their fans are legion and the band is a living Irish legend; so it is little wonder that the organizers of the Irish Extravaganza at FAIRPLEX are bringing back this great Irish Group for the NINTH TIME.

The Mulligans call Southern California home but in recent years the band has cut back on local performances so this is a great opportunity to experience them again

The Mulligans are probably the best know and most popular Irish Band in Southern California and for good reason; they have a great reputation for always delivering a grand performance with a great range of tunes including traditional and Irish favorites and all their music delivers plenty of Irish heart. The Mulligans were formed in Long Beach in 1976 when Denis Murray from Dublin, and Terry McCartan, California born of Belfast decent met and started making much together. Through the years, the band changed and about 10 years ago; Roy Murray, the son of Denis joined the group. The Mulligans usually have different special guest musicians with them and this year's Irish Fair will be no exception.

The Mulligans talent has taken them around the globe; throughout the United States, Canada and Ireland.

They have been frequently featured on TV and have made appearances in several major films including THE PATRIOT GAME with Harrison Ford. They have released four albums including Mulligan Stew, Time For One More, Irish Faire, and their last The Red Rose Cafe and THE BEST Of Thee MULLIGANS are still available. A much anticipated new CD is in the works. The Mulligans have been honored with many awards and accolades through the years including being placed on the GUINNESS WALL OF FAME at MULDOON's PUB in Newport Beach. We hope The Mulligans who are great crowd-pleasers with their friendly easy going style will remain the best known Irish Band around for a long time to come
