Joe Praml - Reading Traditional and Modern Irish Poetry PDF Print E-mail

A St. Paul native; spent 14 years in London working on stage, film, television and radio as an actor, writer and director.  Credits include BBC-TV's Alec Guinness production of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and Smiley's People.  In Los Angeles, he has worked as an actor in TV and film and as a director in local LA theater, where he won a Hollywood Drama-Logue Award for Directing.  He left the entertainment business in the mid-80's and became involved as a community organizer and is a founding member of the Coalition for Economic Survival's Tenants Rights Clinic, where people come for free legal advice.  Two years ago, he returned to the entertainment business as a reader of poetry at theater, libraries, festivals and colleges.  Last year, he directed a play at the Raven Playhouse, North Hollywood Arts District to excellent reviews.  He is a member of British Actors Equity, Screen Actors Guild, Dramatists Guild of America and the International James Joyce Foundation.

Victoria empowers actors of all ages to work safely without trepidation. Actors learn the dynamics of stage combat in order to create original moves connecting action to storytelling, so that the actor moves with purpose and emotional intent.

Victoria Goring is a Fight Director who has choreographed extensively for the stage and screen.

She will be conducting sword fighting lessons at the Leprechaun Stage. Be sure to stop by and take a swing at fighting medieval style!

Artistic Journeys

Artistic Journeys is a non-profit fine arts educational organization dedicated to providing our students and mentors with a wide variety of multi-cultural performing experiences.

We have performed at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire, Disney California Adventures, Knott's Berry Farm, Medieval Times, Tarfest, the Homestead Museum, and The Colburn School. We have been based in Hacienda Heights for 21 years, teaching youth Grades K through University about music and the arts through many programs at our local Hacienda Heights Public Library, public schools,and in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Department.

We have been supported by numerous grants over the past years, including Supervisor Don Knabe's Arts Education Partnership Program, IBM, Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts, and others. Our strengths include mentoring musicians and artists of the future with professionals in enriching performance settings.

Becky's Creations
To Put a Smile on Each Face She Meets... That is the goal of Becky Goodyear. As Becky's Creations, she has been adorning people with balloon art at fairs and festivals since 1989.  Always attracting a crowd with her crazy wigs and costuming, she creates balloon art as unique as the person who receives it!  Whether small as a piece of jewelry or large as a costume, guests will walk away with a colorful reminder of their day of fun grinning from ear to ear!  Becky performs at fairs and festivals all over California, Nevada and Arizona as well as private events locally in Southern California. In addition to strolling, young and old alike catch the excitement of her one-of-a-kind balloon stage show! Safari Sadie’s Rubber Jungle Revue takes them on a musical adventure to Sadie’s wild and crazy rainforest!  Watch for this lass with green hair working her magic on the grounds at the LA County Irish Fair & Music Festival surprising guests with their very own sculptured air.  (Wrapped in a balloon of course!)
